A session for the older generation full of history and memories

The Slovak National Museum – Múzeum Bojnice will once again honor the older generation in the month of October with an event in the spirit of a pleasant sitting with a cup of delicious tea. As part of the Month of Respect for the Elderly in 2024, the museum decided to continue the successful tradition and prepare special afternoons for its visitors who were born earlier in the picturesque surroundings of the Bojnice Castle.

Unforgettable afternoons with tea and history

On October 9, 16 and 23, 2024, starting at 4:00 p.m., seniors will have a unique opportunity to combine the taste of traditional tea with the discovery of the castle’s secrets. The session will begin with a tour of the Count’s apartment and Huňady Hall, where visitors will be guided by an experienced guide. The atmosphere of history will also be enhanced by a discussion on interesting topics related to the castle, its history and its significance for the present.

After the tour, participants will be welcomed in the pleasant surroundings of the castle’s Clubhouse, where another surprise awaits them – an installation dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the museum’s founding. Over a cup of tea, they will be able to reminisce together, exchange opinions and discuss various topics that are close to their hearts.

This program is an ideal opportunity for seniors who want to spend the afternoon in a beautiful environment, enrich themselves with new knowledge and experience a relaxed meeting with their peers. The museum cordially invites individuals and larger groups – whether they are friends, neighbors or organized collectives, everyone is welcome.
