Tours for children
School groups can choose from two types of tours.
The Magical Story of Mr. Bartholomew
“The Magical Story of Mr. Bartholomew” is an educational tour intended primarily for kindergartens. After minor modification, the program is suitable for the 1st-3rd grade of elementary schools.
The Magical Story of Mr. Bartholomew is a walk through the museum’s exposition in the company of Mr. Bartholomew’s puppet. The puppet introduces children to a life in a Renaissance castle. Following the story of a young noble, Agnes Turzo, children have a unique opportunity to compare their daily life with a life of a Renaissance noblewoman.

The special tour of the castle intended for school groups lasts approximately 75 minutes.

Get to Know the Past
“Get to Know the Past” is an educational tour intended for elementary school students. It follows on from the school curriculum (selected chapters from history and national studies). The tour is suitable mainly for 4th-5th grade students.
During the “Get to Know the Past” tour, the “know-it-all” maid Betka and her magical suitcase helps children discover the secrets of the past and get to know the former owners of the castle.
